Kathy became a Christian when she was 6 years old. For most of her childhood, she lived in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University.
Kathy is passionate about children’s ministry. She has served as volunteer children’s director at every church her husband has pastored: First Baptist in Fountain Run, Kentucky; Eastern Gate Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ashland, Kentucky, and now at Circle Drive. During this time, she has led children’s choirs, written and directed children’s music/dramas, planned and directed church camp for kids, and oversaw every aspect of this ministry.
Kathy has been a full-time mom for most of her married life. She has thoroughly enjoyed being a “stay at home mom” and investing her life into the lives of her three daughters.
Kathy enjoys reading, basketball, the outdoors, and texting her daughters!
