The Discipline of Reach

As we consider the role GOD would have us play in the building of a new facility and the move of Circle Drive Baptist Church to a new location, it’s time for each member to get in sync with GOD’s will—His will for us personally as well as his desire for this church body.

As a congregation, let’s spend time:

	Reaching in to see what GOD is saying to us individually. What role does He have planned for us in financing the new structure? What personal business do we need to take care of with GOD to be prepared for this exciting adventure? What gifts and callings has he given us that can be used to benefit others through this new building?
	Reaching up to our only Source for inspiration, guidance, faith, hope and perseverance as we enter this transition time in the life of Circle Drive. As with any work of GOD, it won’t be easy. But it will be triumphant if we look to GOD.
	Reaching out to those in our spheres of influence who don’t know CHRIST. How can we draw them into our fellowship so that GOD’s Word reaches them? How do we reach out to each other as we work together to make the vision of this new facility in a growing neighborhood a reality?

The opportunity to work alongside GOD is amazing. Look at what GOD currently is doing in our midst:

GOD made available 35 acres of property in the growing southeastern section of Colorado Springs.
GOD provided the funds that made it possible for Circle Drive to pay cash for the property at a price much less than the land’s appraised value.
GOD led us, after much study, prayer and discussion, to agree to move forward with relocation of Circle Drive to this new property.

A building plan has been submitted to the congregation and approved. It’s time again to enter the discipline of reaching in, up and out.
