A Tribute to Carlee Cope
On behalf of our church family at Circle Drive, I extend to the family of Carlee Cope my love, sympathy and prayer support in the time of her "homegoing" on April 3. She would have celebrated her 95th birthday in June.
Carlee was born April 24, 1922. She was a faithful member of Circle Drive. She loved the LORD JESUS, her earthy family, and her church family at Circle Drive. She supported the ministry of our fellowship, as well as the vision of total campus relocation. On many occasions, she declared, "I hope to live to see the new building constructed on our property."
Proverbs 31: 25-30 says it well:
Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
Carlee's celebration of life service will be held at Circle Drive Baptist Church on Saturday, May 22 at 2:00 pm. Be sure to continue to pray for Carlee's family!
